SMSF Accountant / Self-Managed Super Fund Specialist (North Sydney)
About the role
This is a focused self-managed superannuation fund role within our SMSF and private advisory team. You will own fund administration, compliance, and tax for a growing base of private clients, with the support to develop into a genuine SMSF specialist over time.
What you’ll do
- Prepare SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and audit workpapers
- Manage fund compliance against current superannuation rules
- Support clients through contributions, pensions, and reporting obligations
- Work alongside advisers on strategy for private clients and family groups
- Keep funds on track through the annual cycle, from data to lodgement
What you’ll need
- Hands-on SMSF accounting experience in Australian practice
- Familiarity with SMSF software such as BGL or Class
- Sound knowledge of superannuation and SMSF tax obligations
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- CA, CPA, or SMSF qualification an advantage
